Our team at To the Stars Wellness Centre is leading the way with creative and flexible therapy approaches to support children, teens and families.

Our psychologists provide support for individual and family mental health. This may include support for behaviour, anxiety, or feelings of grief and loss. We use a relationship based framework that is trauma informed.
Our OTs provide support for daily living skills, fine and gross motor skills, play skills and sensory regulation.

A Psychological assessment utilizes information gathered through standardized testing, interview and observations, as well as collateral information to provide insight into the client’s strengths and challenges.

About To The Stars

To the Stars was founded in 2002 with a passion and a dream to empower and support children and families. This commitment continues to be the core of everything we do. From the moment you walk into our centre you will feel the care and commitment we bring to you. We will take time to understand and listen to your needs and what matters to you, your child and your family. We want you to feel safe, supported and welcome to come exactly as you are. Our therapists all have bachelor’s or masters degrees and are highly trained with many years’ combined experience.

To the Stars is designed to offer a wholistic approach to care. Through our multidisciplinary approach we are able to coordinate services and strategies to meet our clients needs. You can choose to work with one therapist or discipline or create your own team all in one place.

To the Stars is designed around 4 core values:

Teamwork – We are in this together. Our team will work with you to increase understanding of what may be happening. We aim to empower our clients and collaborate throughout the relationship. We invite regular feedback. We work closely within our multidisciplinary teams to ensure that our clients receive the highest level of service.

Integrity – We aim for full transparency in our service. We will seek additional information to ensure that our services are evidence based and that our clients are fully aware of suggested time commitments and budgets for our programs. We will work with you to ensure that we create a program that works for you and your budget. If it is more appropriate, we will refer to other agencies to better suit your situation.

Service – Our team is here to provide the highest level of service. We engage in consistent professional development to ensure that our services are aligned with the most current research.

Growth – We want our clients to feel supported and experience growth during your time with us.
